For a split second, Crowley looked guilty. He drew in a breath as he turned to face Cas. His eyes flashed and he drew his hand back, turned his back to the crib. Aiden babbled, and kicked his legs.
"And why not? The boy is my son." Crowley stayed there, with his back to the crib, his wide legged stance meant to be a challenge. "With his mother gone..." Crowley waved a hand.
He had no real interest in raising Aiden alone, he simply didn't want Cas and Dean and Jo to have custody of his child. Anna's child. It was more a territorial thing, than compassion for the boy.
