Smirking when she mentioned her cabin having more personality, Sam shrugged and nodded his head. "Either that or you just put more effort into it," he said with a grin. "I think that's probably it," he said, taking a sip from the wine glass.
"You missed the videotape era," Sam said with a half-smile. "It's sort of like...in between the two. DVD's are definitely better, though," he pondered aloud for a second. "It is sort of interesting how that works, isn't it?" he chuckled, not having thought of it. DVDs and computers were things he'd taken for granted a little, having more or less grown up in the era that they were made. It must have been overload for Emmanuelle. Everything - everything was different. Or more advanced. He wondered if she liked it or not. "It must be a lot for you to take in, too. The HD and DVD players and laptops..." he half-smiled. "But in the best possible way, I bet."
Thinking carefully, he watched as she examined the DVD case carefully. "Have you figured out the DVD player yet?" he asked, offering to help her without actually saying it.
