"Well, you must thank Claire for such a fine selection." Slender fingers lifted the glance to her lips as she took a sip. The sip hid her own shy smile as she watched him blush and move to the couch. She took that as her cue to sit down as well, right back in the spot she was before he showed up. Closing her book, she tossed it on the table.
"So you think my cabin as more personality?" Emmanuelle mused at the thought as she looked around the cabin. She never really thought of it that way, she just viewed it as.... well, a cabin. It was far more opulent than her home in the country side of France, but it did lack the personality her loft apartment had in the cinema. Tucking her legs beneath her body once more, she took the DVDs from him and turned them over in her fingers.
"I think I would like to watch one of the American ones first, if you don't mind?" Plucking up Mr and Mrs Smith, she turned it over to read the back. "I love how simple movie viewing has become," That smile broadened as her gaze scanned the back. "Where I come from, viewing movies in the privacy of your home required a large projector and a white sheet and reels of film. All you do now it pop this tiny little silver thing into a black machine and voilĂ ! Images appear on that large set like they are magically amassing right before you." Shaking her head, Emmanuelle turned her head to look at Sam. "It's so simple, you don't have to change the reels, you don't have to worry about focus, and lighting. Who would have thought that such a thing could happen?"
