Hermione had been very unsure about going into the shop at first, wondering if people would judge or anything like that. Not that it mattered what others thought but she would rather something like this didn't spread. If it was false, Merlin she hoped it was, then she did not want it being spread around and she would have to correct others. If it was true and she was pregnant, then she wanted peace to consider everything and prepare herself. She picked one of the tests and paid for it when no one else had been queuing, shoving it in her little bag before heading to Harry's cabin.
She felt like she might be sick and that really didn't help her worry.
She knocked on his door and took a few deep breaths before he opened the door. He looked as terrified as she felt. Walking in, she bit her lip as she looked around. They seemed to be alone. The past month they had rather enjoyed it being quiet in their cabins, after all they were teenagers and hormones and teenage lust was bad enough at the best of times never mind when they were left alone.
"It'll be okay," she said quietly, partly for her own comfort and partly for his. And maybe she was hoping that if she said that then she wouldn't be expecting.
