Jaz was sort of bored. Okay, well, more than sort of, but that was beside the point. She was worrying about Faith and Judas - which was really strange, actually having normal-people worries - and glad that she could actually lie again, but more than anything else, she was bored. She walked around, the little bit of cash she'd been given upon arrival burning a hole in that nice purse she'd been carrying when she got here.
She'd already splurged on the cutest pair of new chucks that she'd seen in the clothing store (bright blue with black soles) and put them on right away, and now she was kind of broke. The rest of her money should probably be spent on food, but she wouldn't be Jaz Parks if she was responsible. She turned away from the shops, not really interested in starving for the rest of the small period of time until she got her next paycheck, and took a shortcut through the lake area. Walking in new shoes may not have been the wisest idea she'd ever had, and her feet would no doubt hate her for it later, but she'd deal with it with a relaxing soak later. Maybe a trip to the spa.
