Anna washed her hair. She shaved. But she didn't really pay attention to anything. She was in a daze. It was all autopilot. She was doing things out of muscle memory. When she tugged the towel around her and wandered back toward the bedroom Cas had put her stuff in, she barely noticed anything. Not even Jo. Not until Anna was already sitting on the edge of the bed, hair dripping wet down the towel and onto the bed spread. She didn't say anything, just kind of sat there. There wasn't any life in her anymore. She just didn't have it in her anymore.
