At this point it was less her and Dean that she was worried about and more her and Cas. Well, and Jo, but she and Jo hadn't been right since Anna made her feel rejected. They'd been trying, and they had a good show going, but it still wasn't quite right. She'd hurt Jo and Jo hadn't really gotten over it. And this thing with Dean, the dreams at least, had just made it harder. Anna wasn't even sure that Cas really forgave her, but that was more paranoia than truth really.
Still, with all the fear running through her, all the inner warnings, she still couldn't stop herself. Anna knew that she should send Dean away. She knew that she needed to make him understand that it was dangerous but - well, no, that wasn't entirely true. Because Anna knew that Dean knew as well as she did where this was going. Oh, they could both pretend to have will power, they could ignore it, but what they'd had in the dream developed out of something real. She had no doubt Crowley had started the dreams as just sex, but they'd developed into something real all on their own.
So now it was a matter of figuring out how to not ruin everyone's lives. Anna didn't want to be any part of it, but she was too scared to be alone... no, not necessarily alone, she was too scared to be without Dean. It was getting bad and it was getting bad quickly.
"You should go home." Another sentence mumbled into the front of his shirt. She didn't move away, but she loosened the grip of her hands on his shirt. It was a step in the right direction - felt like the wrong direction, but Anna knew what was the honorable thing to do.
