Harry had rushed around to tidy up his place and put on something nicer than his t-shirt and holey jeans as he waited for Hermione to arrive. He settled on a nice, blue button-up shirt and slacks but didn't bother with shoes. His heart pounded within his chest at the sound of her knock and it took everything in his power not to run to the door like an idiot. Even though he walked to the door semi-calmly and opened it slowly, he was breathless when he greeted her. "Hi!" he said, putting on his nervous smile. He held the door open wider and stepped aside to allow her over the threshold. "How have you been?" he asked, trying to compose himself. He had no idea what she wanted to talk about but he certainly hoped it was good news. He hadn't known what to think of all the time she had been spending inside the library. Was she avoiding him?
