Harry caught a glimpse of red when she put her arm out and looked down at it fully, his jaw dropping. "Hermione!" he said, his voice wavering slightly. All her marks stood out more than ever now, and he looked each one over for quite some time before pulling her into another sudden hug. He held her more tightly this time, definitely afraid of letting go. He shouldn't have been; Bellatrix wasn't here to do anything else. Still, Harry couldn't stop being protective of her. More than anything, he wished he could make the marks disappear and make her forget about the pain she had endured. The 'MUDBLOOD' carving would certainly stick around. He wondered if there was a good spell to use on cuts like hers, to prevent them from scarring.
