Her heart ached the second he looked at her. She had seen him look upset, distraught at times but there was something different about this. He looked so lost, and despite what she wanted to do she couldn't just leave him standing there with her near by. He needed something to cling to, physically or emotionally, and she knew that.
"Come here," she said softly before she was by her side, dropping to her knees straight away, arms wrapping around his shoulders. She just wanted to make this better, but nothing would. She couldn't just make it all go away. It wasn't so hard for her, everything in her past had gradually came to be. For Arthur, this was his future and if he saw something to do with her being saved then she knew the situation. And it was getting dumped on him at one time.
