She didn't dare look away, even though she was tempted to close her eyes and nuzzle into his hand as he brushed back that stray hair from her face. No one had ever had the effect on her that he had.
Her mouth dropped open. Parts of her went a little numb and there were definitely little black spots swimming in her vision. No... No she wasn't the fainting kind! Especially not now. She leaned back against the swelled fender of the car behind her. She opened her mouth to speak, but all that came out was a bit of a croak.
