She smiled at him, she thought is humility was one of his most endearing features that set him a part of not only the men in her past but most men in general. She didn't mind stroking his ego if it gave him that smile either, "I like it this way, too," she agreed.
She moved to kiss his hand sweetly and leaned to rest her chest against his comfortably and gazed at him adoringly. She knew he meant what he said. They both didn't have the time or the need to waste their breath with lies, but it was a relief to know that she made him happy in return. She didn't want whatever this was turning into to be a one way street, which made her want to raise another question. She opened her mouth to ask it, but fear of rejection hit her and she closed her mouth. She instantly wanted to backhand herself for being a coward. She wanted to be honest with Remus.
"I really really like you, Remus," she said biting the bullet, "and I know I haven't been the smartest with my relationships in my past, but I love spending time with you and being with you. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm happy being friends or whatever this is," she said struggling to find the words and struggling to not sound like she needed commitment, "I'm fine with whatever you want to be with me."
