Remus thought he heard music coming from one of the other rooms as he was getting ready, and it sounded like a familiar voice singing. It did not disturb him, however. Buttoning up his light blue dress shirt over his jeans, he smiled to himself as realization dawned on him. Yes, that was definitely Tonks rocking out over there. He shook his head, chuckling softly, and made a mental note to tease her about that later.
Remus checked himself over in the full length mirror in his room, hoping this was the appropriate clubbing outfit. He had never done anything like this before, so he wasn't going to be the best dancer tonight. But he was willing to give anything a go for Tonks, even if he ended up looking like a fool. He combed his hair, put on some shoes, and walked casually down the steps to wait for her. By the sound of the music, she wasn't ready yet.
He went to the kitchen to grab a drink of water, and when he heard the music stop abruptly, he went to stand at the bottom of the steps. Remus smiled brilliantly up at her, taking in her appearance. He was used to her style by now and had found himself growing quite fond of it, from her bright hair down to her holey jeans. But the jeans didn't look so holey tonight, he noticed.
