Sam raised an eyebrow. He'd lied to a lot of people, but Sam figured that there was someone who'd been affected by the lie more than anyone else had been. Who it was or how they were so effected, Sam didn't know. But he did want to do what he could to help. Scratching the back of his neck awkwardly when Judas more or less told him that he'd help, Sam tried to think for a second about how to deal with this. Women were more complicated than just people in general.
"Well," he paused, looking at the sky for a second and swallowing thickly, because if he said the wrong thing, it appeared that there would be a chance for him to be killed.
He had been fine with it until then, but he rather liked being alive, so if it came down to it, he'd definitely rather not say the wrong thing. "If you guys were close, maybe she was wounded to have to find out over the forums with the rest of us, you know? Have you spoken to her since then?" he asked softly. It had merely been the night prior, so he didn't want to make assumptions.
