His eyes shot up to her. "No, of course, I do not hate you. That would never happen." She looked so sad and alone sitting there like that. Getting up, he went over to sit next to Morgana, his arm going around her shoulders. "Nor do I think Guinevere does; she is hurting, but I am sure that, given time, she will heal. The reason she said anything was in the hopes that knowing what happened might mean we could prevent it, which she would not have done if she hated you."
Quietly, he said, "I am so sorry that Father lied to you. He had no right to do that, and had I known, I would have convinced him to tell you the truth. And, I do not understand it, either. I cannot envision you doing those things. Maybe that's the key? Maybe, knowing it is how we can stop it happening, once we get back home."
