This wasn't his place, not really. Not with how little he and Gibbs really knew each other. And now that Abby was here, he should head upstairs, leave them to it. And he doubted either of them would argue with that.
He wasn't sure exactly what had happened, he didn't really keep up with the show any more, but he recognised the look in Gibbs eyes. He knew he'd held the same expression many times before, himself. And so he had every intention of letting them have some time alone, and doubted they'd protest that.
"You let me know if you need anything, Gibbs," he told the other man evenly.
