Stefan smiled, shaking his head. "Don't even joke about that," he said, raising his eyebrows. "I want to wait the whole nine months and have a happy, healthy, normal baby to show for it." He couldn't deny he wished the time would go faster, but he wanted the best for his daughter, and that meant not being affected by what he was. "It'll be the best Christmas ever," he agreed softly.
Stefan raised his eyebrow, watching Elena as she spoke. He pushed himself up on his elbow so he could look down at her, tracing a line from her cheek down her neck and along her arm with his fingertips. "Oh, I'm interested," he growled, lowering his face to hers, a smirk growing on his lips. He wanted to be the one getting attention tonight; Hershey would have to wait. He caught Elena's lips with his, pushing her onto her back as he leaned over her. Her words always had this effect on him, making him want her. She had such control over him and she knew it.
