He couldn't help but smile as she told him all about her candy preferences, and he hoped he would remember them later. "Caramel is great. I love Milky Way bars," he told her. "Chocolate and peanut butter is okay, but I think with caramel is the best. It's sort of like a remedy for me," he thought aloud. "Anytime I'm feeling unwell, I can just eat chocolate and automatically feel better. Especially dark chocolate." He hoped she wouldn't think he was weird for that, but Remus swore it was true. Chocolate had medicinal powers for him.
Remus had been trying to keep his physical attraction for Tonks at bay, but this intimacy between them -- and it was intimate for him -- was making him feel strangely elated. Her hand in his and her thumb running along his skin felt exactly right. Remus didn't want to let go anytime soon. He was glad the movie would give him at least a good hour and a half opportunity to hold her hand as well.
