Remus still did not know whether or not to think of it as a date. He supposed that dinners and movies were traditional date ideas. He didn't want to assume anything and decided to just be happy that Tonks had let him pay.
"I don't know. Maybe it's the ridiculous concession prices," he joked. "That and just sitting still for two hours or so. Especially if you don't want to pay ten dollars for a bucket of popcorn but you have to listen to the person next to you munch away." Of course, concessions were no problem; being the manager, Remus could get mostly whatever he wanted for free.
Once everything was boxed up, he slid it into the bag the waiter had given them to make it easier to carry. "Are you ready to go? Looks like we'll be seeing the previews after all," he said optimistically.
