"That's very true," Remus agreed. He understood why Teddy didn't want to tell him immediately, and he also understood why Sirius had told him. He felt that both sides were right. Not that they would have asked him to choose a side.
He noticed that Tonks suddenly seemed very withdrawn from him. She had been very gracious about him so far, but was she having second thoughts? Remus debated for a few moments over whether or not to ask her what was wrong before curiosity and self doubt got the best of him.
"Is anything wrong, Tonks?" he asked, wondering if maybe it was something he'd said. The possibility that it may have had nothing to do with him doing anything wrong never crossed his mind.
