"Yes," he replied when she stated that he was German. Although, he wasn't proud of what he had done during the war for his country, Fredrick was highly proud to be from that particular country. Maybe if things were different, then he wouldn't have accomplished what he had done during those three days. However, they were done. He couldn't change that fact no matter how hard he had wished it. It wasn't a good thing that he lingered on such memories, despite the fact that he hoped with all his might that he would be returned to his own time. The future was too different for him, quite possibilty too much for his ability to adapt. "But that doesn't mean to treat me any different. I understand english, no matter how rusty I am. Where are you from, if I may ask?" Same old Zoller. He did enjoy asking questions to get to know another easily, especially one of the opposite sex.
Fredrick nodded his head about being a soldier, but placed a finger up to correct her the moment that it didn't seem to be rude. "War hero to be precise," he asked. Despite not being proud of his accomplishments, it was an easy thing to show off that to state that he was a war hero. In his home town, he got anything that he desired because of that fact. Gesturing towards his feet, he noticed easily that the woman worked quick in her sentences and set her mind to things without faltering. It would be no easy task to convince her that he didn't need something that he concerned only for women.
Feeling himself being pushed down with such force, he wasn't willing to deny her at that point. It really wasn't his place to shove a woman either. The last time that he had pushed himself into a room, he had recieved a bullet in his back. Maybe that simple action was taken differently, but in reality, Fredrick wasn't going do anything that would be considered ungentlemanlike. "Madam, I insist. My feet are perfect. No need for anything. I simply wandered in here by mistaken," he spoke, almost pleding. Despite that slight falter in his voice, he didn't make any movement to actually leave the spa. Really, what was wrong with him lately?
