Anna stepped out of the shower a few minutes later. Ten, maybe fifteen minutes. She'd had enough time to get clean, wash her hair, and shave her legs. That was about all she needed right now. She wrapped a towel around her hair and then another around her middle and then moved out of the bathroom toward her son and his father.
Stopping behind Crowley, Anna ran her hands along the tops of both of his shoulders. She sighed, leaning forward a bit so that her face pressed against him, fingers still curled around his biceps. "I still don't know why you did it, but thank you." She didn't give any indication that she'd heard what he'd said to Aiden. Didn't give any indication that she required a response. Maybe she shouldn't have said it at all, but whatever wish Crowley had used to knock her up, she was happy to have a son... happy to have his son.
