Terrified was only the surface of what Crowley was feeling. he didn't even know what he was feeling, it was too deep and profound. He'd never felt anything at all for Gavin, except annoyance and hatred. They'd butted heads from the moment he'd learned of the child's existence, and he'd never gotten over how the boy took priority in his mother's life, leaving Fergus out in the cold. Oh how he he'd wound up hating them both, in the end.
"He has only ten fingers and ten toes, right?" Crowley asked. He wasn't sure what he expected, if he expected Aiden to be anything more than a normal human child. He wasn't sure what he'd do if it turned out that he was more than human.
