Jaz nodded. He was clever, that was for sure. If she wasn't so sure that he could kill her without even batting an eyelash, she would have watched him a little closer after finding that out. Smoothing a hand through her hair, she nodded. "So, subtle enough to keep you clueless..." she said, chewing on her lip. She still believed that Judas had done the right thing by keeping it secret. But she understood why Faith felt betrayed all the same. If Vayl had ever tried to hide who he was from her, she would have probably felt much the same.
"I understand that you're mad. And maybe he could have handled the situation differently," she said softly. "But he made a mistake. A really big one, but we all make them, right? I'm not saying you should go back to being all buddy-buddy with him or anything? But maybe..." she thought about how to best word her next words, "maybe don't be so hard on him."
She paused. When did she become a mediator for vampire-human relations? Apparently this place was the epitome of everything weird in the world. "I mean, I have no right to advise you, since you don't know me from a hole in the ground? But I figure that someone has to play devil's - or, I guess Judas' - advocate here and it might as well be me. Hope it doesn't piss you off."
