She left the talk of magic at that. It seemed it was just a family thing where he came from, and that was alright. She could leave it, but the aging part confused her. "Aging rapidly? The magic makes you die quicker?"
She noticed the gasp and his speechlessness, and a wicked grin curled into the corners of her mouth as she noticed the hand brushing against her hip. He wanted to go out more did he? She was ok with that but she needed to tell him something after he complimented her hands, that was the truth water as well, if she were in a situation like this with a man, she wouldn't have told him right away. "That's just the veela in me. I can affect men like a siren would" then she paused a minute, realizing that sirens were a bit more violent than veelas... unless they got angry. She smiled at him again and pulled away going under the water and swimming a few feet out and just passed the dropoff where theere would not be anything to stand on any longer. "without the killing at least, and if you need proof, why don't you come out here and I'll show you." She hadn't really turned on the full charm since she got here, but now, this man was making her want to show him exactly what it was and what it could do, but then, that could also have just been the truth water, and the best way she could explain it.
