Lily gave a small laugh. It was true, when Peterson did something good, it usually didn't last long. "I guess I better keep him from knowing that I'm happy to see you again, then," she told him. "But I actually meant them. I wouldn't want then knowing I actually miss them!" she clarified, giving a mock-disgusted expression.
Lily shrugged. "There are a couple of people I work with who are pretty cool, but otherwise I spend more of my time with family and cabinmates these days." Scorpius fell under cabinmates, that was one of the things Peterson had done that Lily hadn't been happy about. She still wasn't thrilled--if he wasn't living under the same roof as James and Sirius, they would have a much better time as a couple--but it wasn't as bad as she had initially thought it would be.
