Harry had been sitting on the couch, turning his phone over and over in his hand and wondering if he should talk to Hermione or not. He wanted to, but he was certain she was angry with him. Though, it wasn't entirely his fault about how Petersen chose to randomly pop him into Ridgeway and pop him back out at inopportune times. Surely Hermione would understand that.
He was startled from his daydreams by a knock at the door, and that was when he remembered he had promised Lily he would meet her today. Immediately he jumped up from the couch and opened the door.
Seeing her face, he was hit by a barrage of memories, almost like having a vision. He blinked a few times and tried to get the stupid look off his face, then awkwardly hugged her. It was awkward because he was only sixteen and slightly shorter than her. Then he stepped aside to allow her into the cabin.
He was a little unsure of what to say first, so he started with the pleasantries. "How have you been, Lily? Er, can I get you anything to drink?" He had made a mental note to ask her about this Scorpius fellow who claimed to be her friend, but had decided to save that for later. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable.
