Between seeing a little boy in her bed and hearing her own voice sound childish, the concerns about the previous night seemed to disappear from her mind. They were still bad. Between what Ric and Elena had told her, some very messed up things had happened. She wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing that Ric still wanted to be with her. Elena had told her that she turned Alaric over so that Klaus could take over his body. He deserved to hate her for that alone, but even Elena told her it wasn't her fault.
She pushed all that aside, her eyes focused on the kid. The kid who asked her where her mommy was and called her a little girl--as though she was younger than him and not older. She pulled the blanket up only a little and looked at her body, which was indeed much smaller than she had thought, then looked back to the kid. "...Ric?" she asked, completely confused.
