Who: Marian and five year old!Robin What: Waking in the morning Where: Their room When: The morning after Petersen changed them Rating: Low Status: Incomplete
Robin had gone to bed the night before as ever, once Katie was asleep (for as long as that would last). He'd fallen asleep shortly after Marian, and hoped that how tired he was would ensure it would stay that way for at least a few hours.
As it happened, he didn't wake again until the morning, but all contemplations of the previous evening were gone. In fact, all recollection of previous encounters with Marian, since a time when she was but one year old, and with ridgeway at all, were completely erased from his mind. And he was taking up a great deal less space in the bed.
When he opened his eyes, wide awake in an instant, nice and early, the first thing he did was peer over the edge of the mattress at the floor, his eyes widening. What was wrong with his floor? It was a different colour. Sitting up, he looked around his room. Everything was different. And...there was someone in his bed! Getting to his feet he jumped to the floor, running around to the other side of the bed (it took a lot longer now), to peer curiously at the sleeping face of the woman. Where had he gone? Where was his bedroom? And who was this? He leaned closer, peering at her face curiously.
