Following Robin over to where his bow and quiver rested-- an interesting design, that bow-- Arthur stood back and watched, arms casually crossed, as Robin drew a few arrows. He expected the archer to hold the extra two in his bow hand as he fired the first shot, as was often done.
He did not expect Robin to hold all three arrows in his string hand, nor to fire them in such rapid succession-- and with such accuracy.
After a stunned second, he had to applaud. "That's amazing!" he enthused, walking over. It was always exciting to Arthur to witness a master at work, and it was happening with less and less frequency anymore. "Can you do that every time, or was that just a lucky shot?"
