When Victoire heard Teddy's voice she sighed in relief. He was much less frightening than Teddy's father would be. Unless they were both hanging out and talking. While she was glad that Peterson put Remus close to Teddy, it made walking around her own cabin almost like walking on eggshells. She walked into the living room to see that it was Remus-free, then walked over to him and gave him a quick kiss.
"Hey," she said, taking a seat next to him. She glanced cautiously out of the room, half expecting to see Remus coming down the stairs, but it was clear. A part of her was thinking that maybe to avoid the risk of running into the man accidentally, she should just take a leap and talk to him herself. At least if she contacted him it'd lose the surprise part. "How was your day?" she asked, turning her attention back to Teddy.
