Who: Annabeth Chase & Adam Winchester. When: Early morning. Where: Near the archery stands. What: Adam gets to meet Rideway's newest inhabitant. Rating: TBD. Status: Incomplete.
There were few things Adam enjoyed more than running on forest ground. Sure, the footing was uneven and you had to take care where you put your foot, but it was also soft and a much better practice for the whole body concerning general coordination and equilibrium. Not to mention the sights and smells.
Early morning in the forest was breath-taking. The ground was wet and dewy and at times it felt as if he was running through low fog while the sun rose colorfully in the distance. Adam wasn't able to form an opinion concerning the forest's early morning sounds, because his i-pod blasted music into his ears at a volume that should make his eardrums burst. A jarring contrast to the morning's peace but a damn great rhythm to carry you to an endorphine high.
Adam didn't pay too much attention to where he went. He had more or less memorized the greater pathways by now and as long as he stuck to those, he figured himself safe from getting lost. Thus he barely noticed that his jog had taken him to the archery stands until he was almost there. And that's when he noticed it. A flash of blond and female where no one but Robin Hood and Not-Yet-King Arthur should be allowed. Surely a guest who thought up yet another creative way on hitting on one of the archery instructors by messing with something there on her own. He suspected Robin wouldn't be pleased to see this.
Adam sighed and decided to interfere. He marginally turned down the volume of the music and jogged down to the archery spot. "Hey!" He yelled. "This place isn't open yet."
