She had a definite point, and Arthur felt a little thick for not having realized that the jobs could be useful. Still, while he did not mind doing his duty for Camelot, being told he had to work for some man for whom he had less than no allegiance did not sit well with Arthur. He was not entirely convinced yet, but had already acknowledged that it might be necessary.
"Perhaps," he conceded. "Although, I have to say, the few people I have met have all shared the opinion that there's no escape-- and I cannot simply accept that."
They were nearing the cabins, and Arthur gestured toward the path that led to 5. "You'll be down there. If you need to find mine, it's fairly easy, just follow the numbers." With a half-smile, he said, "You'll be sharing the cabin with two or three other people-- and do not expect it to be well-planned." The smile slipping, he added, "If you are sharing with anyone who makes you uncomfortable, tell me. I'm sure we would be able to work out another arrangement." There was an empty room in his own cabin, if she needed it, but he did not know if they could simply move around like that.
