"That's probably because vampires can usually kick anybody's ass - not that I don't think you couldn't do it." Adam was quick to correct himself. He sighed, rummaged around in his pockets for another handkerchief but came up blank. There was nothing more in that way that he could offer.
Instead he pointed to a bench. "Do you want to sit down or go in again?" He studied her curiously for a moment, fascinated with the way her body healed itself. Sure, the bloody tears were a lot more messy than the books usually made them out to be, but that healing trick was awesome.
"I thought people love vampires," Adam finally admitted. "Where I come from a lot of people turned 'emo' and in extreme cases they go as far as dressing up as vampires." He pondered this for a moment. "Perhaps people only like safe, make-believe vampires?"
