At least he was trying. That was more than most people did. Jessica wasn't sure if it was because he wanted to or because he felt obligated. Or scared. But at least he was offering to help. Most people didn't bother with her. She was starting to feel like a leper.
"I'm not dizzy. I think I can be... you know... okay? I don't know. No one ever really explained things to me." She sighed, wiping at her face and doing more smearing than actually cleaning it up. "I just need to clean up, you know. And... I don't know... avoid people who think it's okay to punch girls."
