Arthur kept a sharp eye out, sword at the ready, as he stepped onto a path that wound beside a lake. Obviously, this was some sort of magical attack, to have brought him from the feast to this place; it was likely a means of preventing the peace talks. Well, whoever was orchestrating this was in for a surprise; while Arthur had refrained from slaying the oddly-hued little man back in the building he was exiting, the culprit-- this Petersen, or his employer if he had been hired-- would not fare so well.
That was even if he burst into song as the orange-and-green person in the building had done. Though, Arthur thought in a moment of insanity, there was something to be said for anyone who could rhyme "doom" with "nom de plume"-- before realizing exactly how distracting that notion was, when he shoved it aside and paid attention once more to what was going on around him.
While the setup seemed ridiculously elaborate, the sorts of people who would go to such lengths to bring down Camelot were not precisely clear thinkers, so he expected an attack at any given time.
