Isobel watched as he came into the room and pushed the door shut. A human girl would be terrified of what might happen with that anger in his eyes, but there was nothing he could do to hurt her. She was more or less intrigued, even if she had wanted him to leave her alone moments before, she really wanted to see what he planned to do to make her see reason.
When he pulled her toward him and kissed her, it surprised her but she wasn't going to complain. He had never been like this with her when they were together. He was always more gentle with her so that he wouldn't hurt her. She doubted he really wanted to hurt her now, but he likely knew he couldn't. She kissed him back, deeply, a part of her knowing it was wrong, but the way he handled her excited her. Right now, she wanted him.
