Upon hearing his name, Adam shot to his feet as if he'd been kicked in the rear. He hadn't been aware that he was so eager to finally get started and shook his head at himself. One would think that centuries spent in the pit would have taught him patience, but no such luck.
"Alaric. Hi." Adam approached the other man with a wide smile, a hand extended in greeting. He tried to stick to the basics of politeness but realized that he probably resembled a kid that was about to be left loose in a toy store.
"I have coffee," Adam offered instead, trying in vain to be patient.
