He snapped his head back up quickly, his eyes wide. Whatever he expected coming to see her today, that wasn't it. He fumbled for something- anything- to say. "But... That can't be... You..." he tried, then rubbed a hand over his face. He pushed off the wall and stood right before her, grasping her arms and bending down a bit so they were eye level. "Lily Luna Potter, I am sober as a bird right now and I want you to know that what I said... It was true. And I don't regret kissing you," he said with conviction. He didn't know if she would accept him- she put too much stock in what other people thought- but he wasn't going to back down now.
