Lily glanced down at the voice and saw Scorpius standing down there, looking up at her. She took a few moments admire his appearance--even with his hair disheveled, he still looked incredible--before returning her eyes to the water. "I've been working, Malfoy," she called back down to him. Not that she had been working until late at night, of course. She'd go other places to pass the time until she was sure she could sneak in and get some sleep.
It was ironic, she had complained to Dom that he must not be trying hard to find her just that morning. She knew that her cousin wouldn't rat her out, however. Dom wasn't like that. She'd promised to keep Lily's feelings a secret and she knew that she'd keep by that.
"Which is what I'm doing now," she added. "I don't really have time to talk." Granted with the other lifeguards around, she could take some time, but this was not a conversation she was looking forward to.
