Scorpius had been having a helluva week. He had gone to work, and gone through the motions. But he was getting more and more irritated. It was obvious that Lily was avoiding him. He hadn't seen so much as a flash of that beautiful hair since the night they had gotten drunk, confessed their feelings, and kissed. Oh! The kiss was wonderful. He would never forget it, for as long as he lived.
Today, he had the evening shift and had risen early to try to catch her. Upon leaving his room, he noticed that she was already gone. Figured. He had asked some of the guests about her and knew she worked as a Lifeguard. He slipped out of his pajama pants and into some jeans and a white t-shirt before heading out. He was glad that James and Sirius weren't in sight - he would have probably dueled either of them, the mood he was in this morning.
He arrived at the pool and glanced around. There were other lifeguards on duty, so he knew that she could talk to him - there were really only adults swimming anyway. He marched over to her stand and looked up at her, hands on hips. "You avoiding me, Potter?" he called up to her. His disheveled hair was standing on end and his feet were bare - he really had been in a hurry to get to her.
