Who: Quinn and Puck When: After this What: Puck wants to see Quinn and she apparently can't refuse. Where: Puck's cabin
Ever since hearing that song on the radio, Quinn hadn't been able to get it or her daughter out of her mind. What was more, Quinn had been pretty sure Puck was avoiding her, until she commented his post and he actually asked her to come over. She really didn't want to feel like she was depending on him, but he had told her a while back that she could come to him anytime she missed Beth, and after that song, it was very safe to say that she missed her daughter. And she missed Puck. It had, after all, been him who got the boys to sing the song for her. It was a reminder of one of those rare moments that he actually made her smile.
Despite her better judgment, she left her cabin and headed toward his. She hadn't actually been to his cabin yet, not since he'd gotten back, but it was the same cabin that he had been in before they moved in together. Two cabins away from the one she had first been in. That brought back memories of when she'd first arrived. It hadn't been long after the affair with Puck. A couple of weeks. Things had still been good with Finn, except for the guilt she had from sleeping with his best friend. Then she got here and Rachel insisted that she was pregnant and that everyone knew about Puck. Then Finn came and broke up with her.
She wiped away her tears as she neared his cabin. Back then, Puck had become her only bright spot about being here, everyone else she knew from home hated her, as did many of the guests. She refused to depend on that again. She could be happy and have fun without a guy. In fact, she had gone out for Jamba Juice with her new roommate the other day and it had been nice to get out and do something besides work.
When she reached the door to Puck's cabin, she had gotten rid of all traces of the tears that had come down her face and even managed to put a fake smile on--thank God for cheerleading--so she was ready to see him. Maybe. She could only hope that her heart and stomach didn't do that fluttery thing that it always did when he was around. Finally, she took a breath and knocked.
