Jeremy nodded. True, he had wanted to be involved, but he knew what it was like when you were. There was no getting out. Still, he wouldn't want to. Elena was his sister, if not by blood, and he would do anything to protect her, even if that meant he was in danger sometimes.
Jeremy took a bite of his burger, murmuring with satisfaction and he swallowed it down. This food really was good! "If this was cooked by oompa loompas, maybe we should be nicer to them," he said with a laugh. He didn't want them to revolt and stop making tasty food like this. Jeremy could cook, but not that well and he wasn't much of a restaurant person. He thought he might be in here for dinner quite a lot. Maybe with Bonnie... He'd like that.
"I watched our show," he said after a few more bites of burger. "Like, right up until where you're from." He felt like he'd missed loads, even thought it was, in reality, only a few hours worth of episodes. He'd been quite impressed with himself in the show, even though he'd done stupid things like getting Stefan stuck in the tomb with Katherine. He'd tried his best to do what he thought was right, and when he compared that to what he'd been like in the last few months, he thought he was doing a good job of becoming more mature. It was strange to think Bonnie actually knew that version of him.
