Jeremy shrugged. He got it. The show was about Elena and her boytoys. He understood why people were more interested in that than him. He'd had that one girl fangirling over him on his first day at work, and that had been quite weird enough for him.
Jeremy felt himself blushing as she complimented him, looking down at the table to hide his grin. Did she really think all that? He'd seen how they'd got together in the show, but it was strange being here with a Bonnie that didn't just look at him like Elena's little brother. Maybe this was fast-track dating - just skip to the bit where they already like you. "Er, thanks," Jeremy said, chancing a glance at Bonnie before sipping his beer. He didn't know what to reply to her. Anything he said would sound corney. "You're not to bad yourself," he settled for in the end. God, for a non-date, there was a hell of a lot of flirting going on. "I also get the crap beaten out of me a lot, but hey, you can't have everything, right?" he said, laughing.
