Jeremy laughed. He wasn't a massive fan of the oompa loompas. They didn't freak him out, they just annoyed the hell out of him. He wasn't exactly the best behaved person around, and he always seemed to get them reprimanding him in song. It got really tiring and very embarrassing if they did it in public. He tried to stay out of their way at work. "Don't worry, you'll get used to them. There's a hell of a lot more crazy shit here." Since he'd arrived, he'd seen people that were meant to be dead, he'd found out his sister was knocked up by a vampire and, on top of all that, he'd been attacked by inanimate objects. He had a feeling that wouldn't be the last of it. Still, maybe it wasn't the best time to spring anything else shocking on her. He actually wanted to enjoy their time together tonight.
Jeremy glanced at her as she pulled her sweater tighter around her. "Do you want my hoodie?" he asked, pulling down the zipper so he was ready to slip it off. It was quite cold out, but it wasn't far to the bar. He could manage without it until they got there if she was cold.
