Jeremy couldn't stop the smile that spread across his face as the door opened. Bonnie looked lovely, as usual. She'd only been gone about a week, but he really had missed her. He hadn't got to spend much time with her before, he'd been in a bit of a mess himself, so he was really glad he had another chance. Sure, he wasn't with her yet in his time, but he did like her. She was an awesome girl, and he worried about her. He hated to think the way he'd acted when he'd arrived had made her miserable before. This was his chance to make it right, make her feel welcome and help her settle in. He didn't want her to leave again.
"Hey," he said warmly, pulling his hands out of his jeans pockets. "You look... great," he said, smiling. She really did, although that was hardly a surprise. She always did. "Ready?" he said, nodding down the path they'd take to get to the new bar. He hadn't been there yet, but the others were all going on about how good it was, so he thought it was worth a look. Besides, they had pool tables there. They could grab a burger then have a game. It would be just like the old times at the Mystic Grill.
