"Considering we share a cabin, I'll be sure to ask her." Adam found himself smiling back at Robin. Having once gotten used to the general idea of actually talking to Robin Hood (the thought still baffled him whenever it occurred anew), Adam started feeling like an overly inquisitive little boy who just met his childhood hero. One of them. There was still Batman, after all.
"You know, I always figured this thing with Locksley was just invented for that film with Kevin Costner." Adam shook his head in amusement. "Did you see all those movies about you? That's got to be so creepy."
Adam took a sip of his drink and rested his chin on his hand. Talking to Robin was good. Aside from being informative it also kept him from thinking. He feared the first moment of solitude and the inevitable turn his thoughts would take. Better keep occupied than to deal with what lay behind him. Any of it.
"So," Adam said, "How did you get used to it? Phones, showers, grocery stores...all that fun stuff?"
