Robin bit the inside of his lip to stifle a laugh. He honestly had no idea what to say to that one. "You're right," he finally agreed. "It's not in any Legend. And believe me, would never have been possible had we not been brought here. Nor would our marriage," he added with a touch less humour in his voice. He smiled at Adam's next comment. "Yeah. My favourite was the time a guest told me I should be speaking with an American accent. Like in the movie. I had nothing at all I could say to that one." He was English. Of course his accent wasn't American.
"Sparkling vampires. You mean from that movie?" Robin had watched about half of it, before he had given up. It seemed to have a specific target audience, which frankly hadn't been him. "I think there's one here. And a few other people from there that aren't vampires." Realising that he had just said something that would sound completely ridiculous, he added, "You're going to find out eventually. Everyone here is from a book, or movie, or a tv show - like myself. It's on the tv here, in the cabin." He pointed it out in the living room behind them.
"You didn't meet them until you were dead?" Robin's eyebrows shot up at that one. "How does that work?" Family was clearly not a comfortable topic for Adam, so he left that one, instead answering his other questions.
"We're not dead. I can safely say that because this couldn't possibly be hell," it was far, far too nice for that, "and it's certainly not heaven with the things Petersen throws at us. You've arrived at a good time, actually. No surprises at the moment."
This was all probably a bit too much for him to be taking in at once. "Did you want me to take you up, so you can see your room? Or the kitchen's through there," he pointed, "if you're hungry."
