"You have a daughter? That's not in the legend!" Adam blurted out before he could stop himself. There was a brief pause in which he looked slightly sheepish. "I guess you get that a lot, don't you? Random people appearing and telling you how you're supposed to be." Truth be told, Adam was impressed with the man's patience. He shuddered to think what he would do if random persons came up to him and questioned his decision to say 'yes' to Michael for example. Adam had serious doubts he would take it nearly as well as Robin did.
"Okay, so there's vampires - no sparkling ones, I hope, because oh yeah, the madness even spread to Windom - and of course Sam and Dean are together." He was starting to believe Zachariah's quip about the brothers' being erotically co-dependent. Goodness knew, it wouldn't be the strangest thing going on in this family.
"I'm Sam and Dean's illegitimate half-brother. I didn't get to meet them until I was dead." Adam paused, noticing how much he tensed up at the mere mention of his family. Doubtlessly the fact that he was a Winchester was going to get him into trouble again.
"Two questions, are we dead and are there any things or people around who want to kill me because I'm a Winchester? And if there are, where do I get a weapon?" Home, sweet home, indeed.
