It struck Robin as odd that someone could breathe a sigh of relief knowing that there was no threat from a squirrel attack. But he also got the distinct impression that he shouldn't laugh, because Adam looked about one step away from - no, it seemed he actually was panicking.
Putting his bow down, though he couldn't imagine Adam could still perceive him to be a threat, he stepped closer. "You're not crazy," he told him, as he opened his eyes again.
"This place does exist. I don't know where we are, or how I can be in this year, and I've been here for months now. But whatever else is happening, it's happening for everyone else that's been brought here too. You're completely sane." He reached out instinctively, placing a hand on Adam's shoulder in a comforting gesture. It occurred to him too late that that might only disturb him more.
